Frequently Asked Questions
Why our Whey?
›
The first reason for this is that when we say whey protein concentrate, we mean exactly that. We use pure, high quality WPC and do not use any blends. Additionally, all our products have only what is required from a protein powder, meaning that each ingredient we use has been heavily scrutinized, and researched, ensuring that we have a solid reason backing each and every ingredient in our formula, and no emulsifiers, anti-foaming agents, caking agents, artificial or refined sugar - you get the gist - we cut out the fluff.
Why do you have Papain (from papaya) and Bromelain (from pineapple) in your protein powder?
›
Bromelain and Papain break down protein for better absorption, hence enhancing digestion, reducing bloating, increasing the available amino acids for muscle repair, and improving the overall nutrient uptake from protein consumption.
Can I use it in cooking?
›
Absolutely — perfect for smoothies, protein pancakes, or overnight oats.
Is this protein third-party tested / FSSAI compliant?
›
All our products are tested by multiple external laboratories and are FSSAI compliant, to ensure that we adhere to the highest standards as this is what we would like to hold ourselves to.
Does this protein have a complete amino acid profile?
›
Yes! We are very proud to have a complete amino acid profile, achieved via using just Whey Protein Concentrate. Our WPC - Coffee has 6.30 grams of Branched Chain Amino Acids (BCAA’s), and 13.31 grams of Essential Amino Acids (EAA’s) per serving. Making sure that you not only receive protein but receive the correct type of protein.
What is the difference between Whey Protein Concentrate and Whey Protein Isolate?
›
Whey Protein Concentrate is protein in its most natural, raw form — retaining some of the healthy fats and carbs from lactose. When these fats and carbs are removed, you're left with almost pure protein, known as Whey Protein Isolate.
How much protein do I get in one scoop of this protein?
›
Each scoop contains 26g of high-quality whey protein.
Is it safe to consume during pregnancy?
›
While the ingredients are clean and safe, we recommend checking with your doctor before use during pregnancy.
Can I take other supplements with this protein powder?
›
Yes, it pairs well with all supplements! But we recommend checking with your doctor before use if you are on any medication for chronic conditions.
Is the protein safe to take for kids?
›
Yes, it's safe in moderate amounts for kids above the age of 14, but always best to consult a pediatrician first.
